First up on my list are crystals. I was first introduced to these as a child by my mum and ever since I always make sure to carry at least one around with me wherever I go. The best thing about crystals are that they each have a specific property so you can use different ones depending on your current situation. Below I have highlited 8 crystals I commonly use and explained their healing properties.
Eliminates negative energy, cleanses the brain and soul and isresponsible for healing. This stone is often used for healing so whenever you are feeling down hold this stone, wear it as a neckalace or carry it in your pocket to benefit from its helaing properties.
Useufl for calming nerves and controlling emotions.
This crystal can bring balance and order to any chaos in your life whilst brightening up your spirits. It also defends colds from your body and makes you more relaxed.
Also known as the "confidence stone", tiger eye is great and inspiring braveness and aiding the digestive system.
Amplifys leadership qualities and calms anxiety and fears. Very useful for people suffering from anxiety or people who are relatively shy as it will boost your confidence.
This stone is mostly associated with females and inspires wisdom, nuturing and flexibility.
Also known as the 'love stone' is responsible for making your mood more positive and opening up your aura.
This is a powerful stone associated with will and courage. It also relieves stress and nerves. An ideal scenario to carry this stone would be when you are trying something new, moving, staring a new job or just need a pick me up.
If I have now inspired you to go out and purchase some of your own crystals it is important to know how to pick the right ones. I use the method of running my non-dominant hand over the crystals and wherever I feel warmth I will pick those crystals. The warmth you feel is guiding you to the right crystal. Also use your inuition when finalising your decision.
Once you get home you now have to clean your crystals to get rid of any negative energies from people who may have touched them in the shop. There are several ways you can do this which include: placing them under running water, using sea salt, smudging them with sage and leaving them under direct moonlight.
My next favourite treasure are worry dolls. I have also been accustomed to these from a young age. They originate from Guatamala and act as an acient remedy for worrying. Whenever I can't get to sleep at night because I am worrying about something on my mind, I will place a worry doll underneath my pillow. By the time I wake up my mind is clear of stress and I can start the day positively.
Thirdly, a god box is another treasure which I have always had. It is very simple to use as all you have to do is write down on a piece of paper a dream/aspiration/worry or concern, fold the paper up and put it in the box. You can place it under your pillow when you go to sleep at night or leave it on your bedside table - either way your guardian angel and the universe will take care of it.
Last but not least is an angel coin. My first coin was a gift from my granny to ensure that I was always being watched over and protected when she wasn't around. I particulary carry this coin when I travel to calm my nerves but it can really be used for anything. You can also purchase coins with a specific angel if you have a personal preference. In my opinion the coin has a multitude of purposes so I reccomend always having it at hand!
I hope you enjoyed this blog post and have gained an insight to some of my holy grail holistic treasures! Comment down below if you use any of these or if after reading this I have inspired you to go out and purchase your own.
